Francisco Lemos St. Closing Overnight For Water Main Repair

KERRVILLE, Texas — Francisco Lemos St. between Water St. and Thompson Dr. will be closed overnight tonight while City crews repair a water main.
The closure starts at 10:00 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, and runs until 8:00 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, according to a notice from the City of Kerrville. The work is being handled by the City's Water Distribution Division.
Crews will block the section off with Type 3 road closed barricades. Drivers who normally cut through that stretch will need to go around for the night.
Residents who live on the closed section will still be able to get to their homes, but the City asks them to expect delays. Postal service and trash pickup will continue as usual.
The City did not say what caused the break or how many customers, if any, may see a water service interruption during the repair.
